30 Latur villages for water supply scheme fixed

The leakages in 30 villages water supply scheme were recently fixed by the officials of irrigation department. The water is supplied from the Makni project. The villagers from Killari had time and again complained to the authorities regarding the leakages in the water supply pipelines which resulted into loss of precious water.

Killari had to get the water after a gap of every 20 days due to this leakage problem. The irrigation officials recently fixed the leakages. Now, water supply to Killari has been restored.
For the last many days Killari village was supplied water after a gap of every 20 days due to many reasons like leakages in the pipelines, frequent technical snag in power motors and other villagers drawing more water by tampering the valves etc
